Alan thanks for the run down on the occupants here . Oliver was the Son of William , so this makes sense in 1921.. Seems the Pearsons had a hand in everything work wise . glad to know they where living comfortably in those days . Also , thanks to Mck for the article on altrincham , I have read this already and it was interesting .

hi all . I have just discovered that a distant Cousin and her Husband ran the Wagon and Horses hotel Islington Road Altrincham about 1893 . They where Alberta and William Pearson . So I was wondering if anyone can find any social history about this hotel please?. Just for curiosity . Thank you .

Thanks DCB , so that's where the name Croasdale originates! It is a pity that the lineage stops here , but at least I have something to add onto my f tree . Many thanks to you all for helping to get me this far and best wishes .

Thanks all . The plot thickens! I will look into this Croasdale name , it is a strange one . I will try and find the Marriages .. and take it from there .

Sorry but Barbara did not have the middle name Croasdale , but Carole has the correct info , in that Barbara's Mother was an Amy Dixon . I will have to check out any Marriages so thanks for that . So watch this space . Thank you everyone for your support here .
