Well thank you all for these super contributions . I am considering the leads for John and the Wife Jane . Also , it would be apparent that John ended up in County Durham?. So far away from Devon?.

Hoping someone can help me to track my 2nd G Granduncle John Hender born 1843 in Plymouth Devon . John's parents where Thomas Hender b 1808 Stratton and Mary Hender b 1808 . I know John's siblings had a range of occupations from baker to sailor . Thank you for your attention here.

Many many thanks to you all for the various info on Robert and his family . I never expected to go this far into there lives . It seems that Robert was a notable Mariner in the day .. makes a change to the fishing occupations of many in the James line from Newlyn. I will look into the ship info carefully as there are many different ones he was in charge of . One thing I am puzzled by is "Why his Son's left to go to Argentina?". It seems a long way to go . Best wishes to you all .

thanks to you all for the contributions it is good of you to research Robert . i am not sure that the Cornubia and Robert are connected , some of the write ups for the Cornubia say it was built after 1835?. As for the newspaper articles , sorry but I could not enlarge them enough to read . If anything else of interest pops up , please send on the info . Best wishes to you all . Thanks..

Please can anyone help to track my 1st Cousin 5 x rem Robert James born in 1812 in Paul Cornwall . The only bits of info I have are that he was a master mariner at some point . There was a large family and his Son Llewelyn b 1849 in Flint Wales emigrated to Buenos Aires about 1875 with his family . I have no info of Llewelyn in Argentina . It would be nice to see the outcomes for this line of my family . Thank you .
