« on: Sunday 17 May 20 18:35 BST (UK)  »
Hello,
Could someone please point me towards which parish registers at the NLI I should be looking at for Ranelagh, am unsure if it should be Rathmines or Rathgar.

Many thanks !

Somewhere I had seen Annavilla listed together with Dunville Avenue. I did not take a screenshot of the entry unfortunately, if I come accross it again, I will post it.

Thanks All.  I did not obtain the information from the census. It appears on a baptism certificate.
The baptism took place on 11 November 1901, the address shown is Mill House, Donnybrook.
The 1901 census, which I believe took place in March, shows the family at Grattan Court.
The 1911 census shows them at Pembroke Cottages. With two sides of the family to work on, initially you feel elated when you find something, then another piece by the time you find a third, you sometimes begin doubting whether the pieces do actually all join up, such common names do not make it any easier.
If I want to look for births prior to 1864, am I reliant upon the church records, knowing where they resided at the time and figuring out the Parish?
Much appreciated !

Thanks Everyone. It is indeed Dunville Avenue but on the 1913 Dublin electoral rolls appears to be Annavilla too. All very confusing !

Is anyone familiar with 'Mill House' in Donnybrook, I am looking at 1902. Would this be an area?
I noticed the family were showing up in Pembroke Cottages, Donnybrook a few years later and wondered if perhaps they were one and the same and it is just a road name change?
Thanks !
