Suffolk Lookup Requests / Re: Charlotte Butcher Bc1811 Stradbroke/Brundish, Suffolk
« on: Monday 19 January 26 18:21 GMT (UK)  »
Thanks everybody. I'm not sure about the Yoxford lead. It could be the same one I guess. It would have been handy if Charlotte had had a daughter called Henrietta to confirm! I did find a John Butcher born in Stradbroke in 1811 who I'm thinking might be her brother. Is anyone able to find any mention of other family members of John's on records other than his wife Maria and two children? Just trying to work back to the previous generation...

Suffolk Lookup Requests / Charlotte Butcher Bc1811 Stradbroke/Brundish, Suffolk
« on: Saturday 17 January 26 22:23 GMT (UK)  »
Hello. I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help as there may be no records available, but I'm just wondering if anyone has any information on Charlotte Butcher who married James Scales around 1830? Future censuses show that she was either born in Brundish or Stradbroke, but I can't seem to find any records so can't track my family tree further back. Any help gratefully received! Thanks

Thank you for replying Doolittle. Is there any way of tracking back to see who her Wallace parents might have been?

I have a Mary Wallace in my tree, born c1780 in Carsphairn, married in Balmaclellan, birth of first child in Anworth. She married William Hume in 1808. Can anyone shed any light on who her parents were?

Thank you for such a speedy reply! I'm not sure if my connection is therefore connected. I'm trying to find the parents of a George Edwards who was a surgeon in Eye. He was born there in 1801 but is a bit of a mystery!
