I’m a member of Scotland’s People so I’ll look it up.

My Great Grandfather managed to get a young lady pregnant (my Great Grandmother)! and it’s her that I’m struggling to find.

I know she lived at Ailey Cottage in 1886 as a Domestic Servant but I can’t find her after that.

Could there be more than one Ailey Cottage? My great grandfather Archie Shaw lived in Ailey Cottage 1860’s to 1890’s. His father was John Shaw and his mother Margaret.
