I've attached a clip from a death certificate which was fairly easy to read apart from one word which I can't decipher.
I got the Morbus Cordis easily enough but I can't get the second cause of death.
Any suggestion?

Alan - many thanks for all your efforts. You were the only one to respond which shows how difficult that second clip was to decipher!
Can't understand how you got so much info from the clip as I'm still struggling to make sense of it. I'm pleased with the details you managed to provide and I can update the tree with that info.

Thomas died 1957 in Stirling, Scotland and Sarah died 1927 in Glasgow Royal Infirmary. I think it's Sarah you're referring to as the second one?

Thanks so far Alan - at least that's cleared up the first problem! I don't hold out much hope for the second because the writing's horrendous - but I live in hope!

I've attached 2 clips re the causes of death of my relatives. The first clip is fairly legible but I still can't make it out clearly enough. It reads Fracture of ? neck 7 days and broncho pneumonia (I think).
The Second clip I think I can make out Cardiac failure ? days but after that I'm stuck.
I'd be grateful (as always) for any help.

Margow - many thanks for that. Wasn't expecting it quite so quickly!
I've come across Puerperal fever many times (as you'd imagine) in my researching but I just couldn't see it on this document.
As I said, I thought it was one word only!
The more I look at it now the clearer it becomes.

Yet another document I'm stumped by. I've tried everything but I just can't make out this cause of death from 1864.
I've come across thousands of causes of death researching the family tree but nothing comes to mind when looking at this one.
It looks like it's one word and possibly lasted 3 or 5 weeks.
Hoping, as always, someone out there comes up with the light-bulb moment!

Many thanks to both - I saw that there were numerous views of the topic but no responses which confirmed how difficult this one was!
Thanks to Little Neil for the map which I'll keep for future reference.
Was interested to see Bushlnn1746's obituary clip mentioning the name M'Fegan as the husband of the subject here was a William McFegan.
Unusual name and the only McFegan I have in 1000's on my family tree so that was really interesting too.I'm more than happy to update my tree etc with your suggestions so thanks again guys and take care!
