Hi Hilary, great of you to reply.... as I mentioned we have a rough but fairly comprehensive family tree drawn here.... it covers back beyond my mother (*) and her brother (*). The children of Harry and Mary, blacksmith of Bootle, Cumbria. His father being Isaac Gainford.
We can email you a copy if you like.

I have a copy of the family tree in my possession. I am Harry Gainford’s grandaughter.
I have tried to post a decent resolution image of this but this site only allows uploads of 500kb which is far too small.
Please drop me a line though and I can always email one by another means.
