Thank you so much I only had a guess st her birth being 1599. I did know she was born in Kidderminister.
I will look up her father you mentioned to continue my research.
I'm headed to Jamestown in a week or two to get pictures for the book.
She was a maid gor Mr. Binneons who swelled at Bishops gate street. Do you know why year her father was born? When she went on the ship Warwick both parents were dead so they were dead before 1621.

I'm writing a book about the the maids that went to Jamestown to marry the colonists. Alice/Alse Jones was one of those brides.
I'm writing a fictional history of each women. I have been researching Alice and found she came from Kidderminster, UK.

Re Are you a where that Alse Jones born Kidderminister was one of the tobacco maids who went to Jamestown  on the ship Warwick. I;m researching her family. She was 21 years old at the time. She was "in service" for Mr. Binneons dwelling on Bishopsgate Street.
Im trying to find her parents name.

If I am right this Bell family came to America and settled in Virginia. I descend from Roger Bell b. abt 1672 and m. ??.

His son Roger Bell b. abt 1700 d. 1774 Orange County, Virginia m. Elizabeth maiden name unknown

I have a Henry Bell born 16 Feb 1589 St. Mary's Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. His siblings are Thomas, John, Phillip, Roger and Anthony. Parents were Roger Bell & Winifride Kitchin.

I'm trying to find son Roger Bell's family and who he married. He was born 7 May 1593 St Mary's.
