Hi there

There is a Joseph McComb in the 1901 census in Market Street, Tandragee aged 64 years but not sure if this is the right one as the Rose Ann (born 26 Aug 1865) in the census's mother is Rose Ann (formerly Loy).

As for the parish, the COI church in Tandragee is also known as Ballymore Parish Church.

I know it's a long time ago but were you able to trace the Gartland family in Tandragee?

Hi Folks
I have done extensive research on the Mackin / Nugent / Hagany line.

Charles Francis Nugent born 2/4/1875 to Charles Nugent and Eliza Gilpin.
on 24/9/1896 he marries Annie Mackin daughter to James Mackin and Ann Burton. James Mackin died in 1877 and Ann marries Bernard Brophy on 16/5/1878. They have a daughter Mary Brophy born 21/9/1878 in Portadown. In 1897 Mary Brophy marries Thomas Cassidy. This accounts for the 1901 census http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Armagh/Tandragee_Urban/Market_Street/1021363/

Charles is enlisted in the army, which would account for him not being on the census.
Charles and Annie have 3 children Annie (1902), Thomas (1903) and Mary (1906).
Annie dies on 17/11/1907 in Banbridge Workhouse from pulmonary TB.

Charles marries Annie Hagany on 3/3/1908 in Tandragee. Annie is the daughter of John Hagany and Mary Fearon.
Charles dies on 21/4/1910 from Peritoneal TB.

In the 1911 census Annie (Hagany) is on her own.

Annie is with Thomas Nugent (Charles's brother) and Ellen (Toal) http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Armagh/Tanderagee_Urban/Montague_Street/332758/

Thomas is with James Campbell and Elizabeth (Nugent) (Charles's sister)

Mary is with her grandmother Eliza (Gilpin).

Sometime after the 1911 census, Annie (Hagany) took her stepson Thomas to America and stayed with her sister Margaret (Hagany) and George Murphy and their family.

The confusion with Burns is Annie (Hagany) had another sister Bridget who married William Burns.

Annie Mackin ID GS19-G5X on www.familysearch.org

Hope this is of help.
