I confirmed the birthday date and it matches my Patrick's (2nd great-grandfather). The story I was always told of how our family emigrated from Cork, Ireland to New York City was nothing short of an Irish folk tale. My great-grandmother was known for her story-telling, but I've always believed the story that was passed down.
I am visiting my father this week and I promise I will give you as much information as possible. I am going to show him all of the information covered in this thread and he'll be able to confirm and add additional information.
