Thanks, Nicola!
Haven't found them in Yorkshire, either. Even looking at Ireland....
Would appreciate you keeping me in mind if you do come across anything - as you said, there aren't too many of them around London.
Good luck with your research.
Regards,
Lee

Hi Nicola,
Thank you for your response. I have Amelia Easterby marrying Thomas Wakefield at St Mary Stratford, Middlesex, in 1829. A witness was Mary Easterby. No idea of either of them before that. Unfortunately no parents' names given in the marriage register. Amelia died in 1839 (from memory - before the 1841 census, anyway). I have not been able to find any trace of her before her wedding. I haven't even found any Easterbys via DNA despite having two cousins on that line also test. My Amelia was born c1809 per her age at death. She had known children Amelia (my g grandmother), Thomas (disappeared after 1851 census), Emma (died as infant), and Ann (married brother of Amelia's husband). Would be very interested if you had found any reference to any of these in your research...
Regards,
Lee

Hi Nicola,
What are the names of the Easterby children please? We could have a connection.

Lee
