Hi  Just seen this post my McMurray,s come from co Armagh and interested to see if any connection .I remember my grandfather tell me 7 brothers came from Scotland and settled in Northern Ireland.


I have some that emigrated to canada as well.Have to say the McMurray family has been hard to trace

Thankyou all for your help when looking at it again I realise that there are two Rachel Taylor's the same family so the Rachel I am looking would be the sister possibly of James Taylor . Who would have the birth before the 1889 date that I thought at first.( maths obviously not my strong suit lol)

Hi trying to do a bit of family research and wondered if anyone can help . My great grandmother was Rachel Taylor and she lived at Drumnasoo  she married a Robert McComb  who died at the age of 23 and they had one daughter Eleanor Agnes McComb. She later remarried an Issac Hayes.
Rachel was one of ten children and I'm trying to trace the Taylor side at the minute. I remember a Taylor living in the village that was related to my gran and they possibly buried with her in Kilmore Parish.

The family I'm looking for are Albert born 1903,Robert born 1901, Edmund born 1909, Harriett born 1907, James born 1911, Elsie born 1919, Annie Violet born 1917, Percy or Perry born 1916, Mary born 1919. I just wondering if any one out there possibly related to one of these people so I can fill in a few gaps in my research I can't find a son called john at all in the research.
Father was James Taylor died 9th April 1949 mother Minnie / Mary died 4th April 1946 daughter Elsie died 8th April 1927, son John died 21st Feb 1987, his sister Rachel Hayes died 11th March 1961, and Daughter Eleanor Agnes McMurray died 29th Dec 1976, son Perry died 4 th April 1988 and his wife Margaret died 6th March 1995 all buried in the same plot in Kilmore church co.Armagh.
 .unfortunately I have no family left to help with this .  Hopefully someone can help .

Where would I find out if William john Pendleton and Bertha Pendleton divorced as in the census for 1911 if the William john Pendleton is the same one he is married to a Janet Pendleton and Bertha and her daughter Bertha are living with the mccourtney family but listed as pruelton
