Hello all
is it possible to do anything with this photo at all. Its of my gt Uncle Herbert Blakeley 9th West Yorkshire Regt, killed attacking the Wunderwerk at Thiepval on the Somme 14 Sep 1916. I visited his grave in Sept but didn't think the photo quality was good enough to put on his grave.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Technical Help / Merging Two Different Trees on Ancestry.
« on: Thursday 16 May 24 13:55 BST (UK)  »
Hello All

Does anyone know if it's possible to merge two different trees together on Ancestry, (I know how to merge people). I've managed to find common ancestors that link the trees and rather than having to input all the info manually into a new tree I'm hoping I can just merge them.
Kindest Regards
Mick

Thanks for the reply Tony. I've had a good look on ancestry already, found lots of info but was hoping to find a few pics. I've got quite a few LBSCR people in the tree, two of
them progressed quite far, one was station superintendent at Three Bridges then Brighton and the other was the treasurer for the LBSCR

Hello All

Does anyone know if there was a staff magazine published for employees of the London Brighton and South Coast Railway and if there was any ideas where copies would be kept now, National Archives, The Railway Museum York or some place else.
many Thanks

World War Two / Release of WW2 Service records
« on: Tuesday 13 September 22 19:52 BST (UK)  »
Hi All

Will there ever be a release of WW2 Service Records by the MoD? WW1 service records were released after seventy five years, 1993. Seventy five years for WW2 was 2020. Or is this a case of  the MoD being onto a nice little earner at £30 a time for each record released.

Thanks Mick
