No problem, I only know Mona because I visited Valley a couple of times which groundcrew on Phantoms in the mid 70s.

Were there two Monas? I thought Mona was on Anglesey and is still in use today as a relief landing ground for RAF Valley.

The third menber of the crew Sgt G. W. Acock (Observer) survived the crash and was admitted to hospital dangerously ill.

I served in the RAF from 1970 to 1993 and only saw my dog tags occasionally they were a sort of fibre board, I know the americans had metal ones though.
