Hello All
I've read this thread with interest - what an interesting lot of people. I've been trying to muddle through the De Hon and Heasman families with a lot of roadblocks. It doesn't help that people change names or adjust their ages!!
Has anyone found either a divorce or annulment of the marriage between Amelia Heasman and James Bradley - or did she just run away and forget about it?? Her marriage record to Peter doesn't shed much light! I'm really puzzled as to how she got to New Zealand - does anyone have any clues? And then what brought her to Sydney after Peter De Hon's death and again under what circumstances?
I note in the thread that Amelia's mother looks to have remarried but I still haven't found any details of William Heasman's death other than note of it on Amelia's 1st marriage cert.
My connection to this family is via John De Hon/Dean so if anyone has any info that they wouldn't mind sharing would be most appreciated - I'm especially hoping for a photograph
happy researching
