Yes I think it's disgusting about what they are trying to do, I live up North but feel that if they started doing it in London where else would they do it.

They should preserve out Heritage not destroy it.

I was there at the same time as alf was there and actually had my photograph taken with him he was a very cheerful chap and he was great friends of the people that I was with. I was there when a lady made a speach for him about his involvement with the people and how he helped during the occupation.

The people that I was with have been going to the same place 69 times, you may of met them actually, they are called Bob (but he gets Pedro) and Margaret (who get's called Margarita), Billy and Joyce,

Northumberland Lookup Requests / Souda Bay War Cemerty
« on: Thursday 01 June 06 12:01 BST (UK)  »
I recently visited Souda Bay War Cemetery, Crete  and took some photographs among these where photographs of headstones of soldiers from the Northumberland Regiments.

I have not got them printed yet but hopefully the headstones will come out and give the names of some of the soldiers.

Will post the names once photographs have been printed and any of them that are visible will publish them for anyone interested.
