Heraldry Crests and Coats of Arms / Family crest or military moto ?

Good morning,
I am a new member of this site trying to find some help to unravel the mystery of a cigarette case that belonged to my grandfather. We have been searching for a family name that could be attached to the crest but have drawn a rather large blank. Reading through Fairbairn's book of crests England and Ireland there are many similar images although none that are exact. Because of the moto beneath we thought maybe it might be a combination of family crest and military moto, although again I have not found anything to confirm this. We have exchanged emails with The Heraldic Society who haven't recognised it and said the enquiry had been passed to their secretary Mr John Tunesi of Liongam. This was some time ago and no-one has yet been able to contact us. If there are other avenues of research that are known or in fact someone does recognise the image please let me know as it would be greatly appreciated.
