Ahh interesting! I've not really been to Devon properly, but I was invited to look around the house where William Spurrier 1775-1831( my 4th great grandfather) lived at the end of his life.

Yes she was my grandmother, she passed away at a grand old age of 102 quite a few years ago.  So what would that make us in relation?

How interesting, my dad moved to Devon a few years ago ( its his side of the family that were Spurrier's ) his mother's ( my grandmother) maiden name was spurrier before she married a Smith.

Oh wow! Walter George Spurrier 1851- is my 3rd great uncle, I stem from William Spurrier 1841-1906  Walter George Spurrier's brother.
