Thanks Bee&Biggles for the info ,I will decide later ,the library looks a good option  but i much prefer to do research from home .So if i went with the ancestry half price worldwide ,how do you stop them taking the full amount the year after?

Thanks for the offer Rosie99,I will do it myself at a later date ,just got to decide which to go with ancestry or find my past,I quite like the ancestry worldwide but not the price £180 ,

Thanks for all the answers,I know the person has passed away but has not been unredacted yet  on ancestry ,i suppose i will have to wait till the 100 years is up in a  couple of years and then maybe Ancestry will  update their records!!

Hello,can anyone tell me when the redacted names on the 1939 register would be revealed,is it after the redacted person has died? and is it updated  when this happens
