Hello from Canada, I am the Great Granddaughter of George Alexander Knight solicitor from Clones. He was affectionately referred to as "Buckie" by my mother who was the first child of Nora Isabell Knight who married Douglas Kenneth McMinn. My mother Nancy Creina Marshall nee McMinn often spoke of her family and their house in The Diamond and after at Trim Co:Meath. Are there any Knights still living in Clones or in Trim. I know some cousins lived in Dunmurry just outside Belfast. Anne Elliott, Buckie's wife has an interesting lineage back to the Fitzgeralds and the the Norman Conquest.
