Not sure how to reply to each of you but thank you all SO much for taking the time to confirm the path is the correct one. Very much appreciated.

Don’t go too far, as I might be back for more as I go deeper into the tree 🤭😉😂

Good evening everyone.
I am trying to do a family tree for Charles thomas gander born 1872 in Portslade.

I have found that his father was Henry Gander and his mother was Mary.  I have been left with two possible Mary’s and it’s driving me mad 😫

Both Henry’s were married around the same time but how will I ever work out which Mary he married ? Any help gratefully received 🙏 thank you

So definately worth sending for a copy of it then thank you Carole. So sad about your fathers brother. What a tradegy 😢 Leslie, according to my grandfather was bounced out of his pram by his brother while their mother was in the shop 😢 Imagine having to live with that accident ?

Hi everyone. I know that this little chap was born in Brighton / Hove in 1921 and died in the same year as a result of an accident  :'(
We understand that there was an inquest ? Is anything searchable for coroners reports for that period or would his death certificate help me with cause of death ?
Thanks in advance. Lorraine

Thanks so much for your help guys. I believe that the Susannah date is the one I am looking for but not sure which Henry. I seem to remember that a family member said it was a Portslade cemetery so the Victoria rd might be correct ? I wonder if I e mail them, they will tell me ?

Hello Kevin,
Sadly I seem to have killed my laptop which had all of my family history on it  ::)
The people in question were Henry and Susannah Boniface of Elm Road Portslade. I seem to remember that they died approx 1925 ? They certainly died within a couple of years of each other.
Any help is gratefully received as I would like to read any inscriptions if there are graves.
Thank you

Are there any records searchable online for burials in portslade ?
As i only assume that the Boniface couple were buried, i am not sure which cemetary to search and of course, i would prefer not to wonder around graves unless i know where i should be looking. Thanks in advance.
