Dorset Lookup Requests / 1841 census Bunter and Chant's Sherborne
« on: Friday 05 May 06 00:53 BST (UK)  »
Seeking details of the Bunter and Chant familes in Sherborne.
The Chant's of Sherborne connected to the Chant's of Oborne.

My 4x and 3x great grandparents James Chant and Mary Bunter
married in Sherborne in 1837.

James Chant b 1816 was from a large Chant family including
cousin Noah Chant b 1811, William Chant b 1816, uncle
James Chant b 1787 and wife Mary with children, Mother
Elizabeth Chant b c 1778, Uncle Samuel Chant b 1782,
Brother Charles Chant b 1800 etc. So would appreciate details
of all the Chant's of Sherborne in 1841.

James Chant's sisters married three Parsons men from Bradford Abbas.
So seeking William, Luke and Edward Parsons at Bradford Abbas
with wives Harriet, Ann and Eliza with their families.

Mary Bunter was the daughter of James and Ann Bunter, brothers
Luke b 1814 in Royal Marines, Richard b 1810, William b 1822,
James b 1825. Details of the Bunters in 1841 sought.

I think he had a brother Charles F b 1842 and sister
