This maybe a connection. I have just been trying to do some of my family history and whilst searching for my Dumphy relations, I have discovered a John O'Connor born 1800 , Ballingarry, Tipperary Ireland with a Susan Roach . They had a son and a daughter.The son was called Michael O' Connor and he married a Nora Dumphy. they went on to have a son called Patrick {might have had a daughter too} Patrick married a Margaret Mc Garth.
