« on: Sunday 12 March 06 03:49 GMT (UK) »I have a bit (a very small bit) of info on McCrorie. All I know is that they were in the Irvine area of Ayrshire around 1860 but haven't investigated too far back. One of them married into my family - details if interested. Don't know where they originated.
Janet McCrorie of Irvine married William McNair 31 Dec 1862. Their daughter, Elizabeth Watters/Waters is my g-grandmother. Janet's parents were Thomas and Elisabeth Waters McCrorie. Is the same family you refer to? I have limited info on them, but would be grateful to compare what we have. Thank you.
