« on: Saturday 02 May 20 22:43 BST (UK)  »
I’m trying to find where my great great grandfather Benjamin Simpson born in England possibly around 1820 and my great great grandmother, Hannah Smith Simpson also born England. They married and had 14 children. First born was Elizabeth Ann born 5/28/1843 then Benjamin John born 10/19/1844 then Emma Francis born 6/15/1846 then William Henry born 12/27/1848. I have the family bible that lists all children with births so trying to find where they came from. Benjamin and Hannah supposedly moved to Ireland at some point. Having difficulty finding Benjamin and Hannah’s birth, maaarrige and death certificates

Hi,

Here is what I know currently regarding my Simpson ancestors some of the info that you posted after my post sounds like it might be info for my relatives so thank you very much for that info:)

Not sure if the info below will help further identify any of my ancestors, but here is what I know.

Benjamin John Simpson possibly born around 1820 in Celbridge Ireland
Hannah Simpson his wife maiden name Smith possibly born around 1820 somewhere in Kildare her mother was Jane Smith ( maiden name Harkiness),

I believe based on a census in 1901 Benjamin and  Hannah Simpson resided in Big lane, Celbridge, Kildare, Ireland and belonged to the Church of Ireland. Benjamin may have been a farmer.

Benjamin and Hannah had 14 children beginning  with:

Elizabeth Anne  born May 28, 1843, died Sept 6, 1879
Benjamin John born  October 14, 1844
 Emma Frances born June 15,1846

Arthur Richard born Feb 15, 1852
Alfred Thomas born  Dec 3,1853, died Dec 6, 1859
George Christopher born Nov 10, 1855, died Mar 17, 1900
Harold Frank born  May 9, 1859, died Sept, 27, 1900
Ernest shires born Dec 26, 1859 ( my great grandfather) died  Oct 22,1935(East Orange, NJ, USA)
Perceval Charles born Jan 10, 1861, died Oct 6, 1869

Hi 👀 nj for any info regarding my great great grandparents. Benjamin John Simpson married Hannah (Smith) Simpson . They had 14 children some of which migrated to east orange New Jersey around early 1880s. I think they lived around Celbridge, Ireland. Looking  for their birth or death certificates

Trying to locate my great great grandparents and their ancestors. I have a family bible but am confused in that the name at the top of the family page isn’t that of my great great grandmother. I know from death certificates that my great great grand mother was Hannah simpson(maiden name Smith) who was married to Benjamin John Simpson.  14 children are listed but the name at the top is Harriet Mcallister. The Bible was made in Edinburgh Scotland but my ancestors came from possibly Kildare Ireland, my great great grandparents may halve been born around 1820 possibly around celbridge Ireland for my great great grandfather Benjamin John Simpson and my great great grandmother may have been born around Kildare Ireland’s. Trying to figure out where Harriet mcallister fits in?
