Hallmark, I apologise if my messages have been unclear or not what you require. I am completely new to this site and have only recently started researching my family history so I am both inexperienced and unfamiliar with this site and with family history research. My request wasn't solely directed at you and I never directly asked you to trawl through hours of wills and deeds. I don't have information you require regarding religion etc. hence my asking here. From what research I have done, it seems the people mentioned in this thread previously were the same as in my family tree so I just wanted to ask if anyone had any updated info from what they had discovered and posted in this thread 3 years ago. I have a copy of the will which mentions leaving 9-11 Grafton Street to a daughter but I am unsure as to which country she was in. I believe he died in 1897 in Upper Macedon, Vic. That's all I really have unfortunately... if you feel you are unable to help. That's completely fine. Thank you for your time.

Thank you Sinann! My information may be incorrect... my personal family tree didn't cover really any information on the pair or any further back from them, so everything I have found as been through my own research and things I have been able to uncover on ancestry.com, myheritage etc. that seem to fit with the little info I had. I had seen mention elsewhere of them possibly marrying in Fermanagh so I will be sure you check out that link you attached. Thanks so much!

Thank you!
I have a fair amount of info about William. I believe he was born in Cork in approx. Oct 1822. And was also married in Ireland to Eliza Skelton before coming to Australia, where he lived and died. He was a school teacher and I believe he owned numerous properties in Dublin, leaving some to his daughter in his will. What I'm really struggling to find is a lot of info about this father, George, grandfather Arthur and great grandfather Arthur Snr. (and wives). I've got rough dates for births, death and marriages etc. but probably more so, particularly with my travels to Ireland coming up soon, looking to see if anyone is aware of any sites I can visit linked to William, George, Arthur, Arthur and any other members in that direct line. Prehaps their graves, properties they owned/lived in etc. I know that's fairly broad but just wanted to ask in case someone had come across something. But as I said, literally any extra information that can be offered is appreciated.

Hi!
Just came across this site and thread today on google while doing some research. So I have created an account. I am a descendant of the Dunne family living in Melbourne, Australia. William Henry Dunne is my gggg grandfather. As I'm new, I'm still trying to work out exactly how the site works. I see this thread is a few years old, but hopefully you will still receive notifications? I'm wondering if perhaps you have found some further information on any members of the Dunne family during that time. I am travelling to Dublin in a few weeks and would be very interested to visit any relevant sites i.e. graves, properties owned etc. if possible linked to the Dunne family. For example, I believe William Henry owned property in Grafton Street, Dublin.

Anything you have would be great.
Thanks all  :)

Hi all,
Thanks for all your help. Little bit confused on how to use this site. Just came across some info relevant to me today on a very old thread and was trying to directly message that certain person when I came across this thread. Still seems I am unable to send messages however. Carol, I can see your message... but can't seem to reply. Might have a bit more of a play to see if I can get the hang of things.  :)
