My name is Andy, I was an apprentice butcher with "Alex Munro Butchers" 136 Castle st. Townhead, just across the road from "Agnes Brogan" flower shop. She was one of our customers and we saw her and her two sons every second day. She started her business by selling flowers outside Glasgow Infirmary and Stobhill Hospital from a basket, then progressed to open her shop in Castle st. I left Glasgow after 3.1/2 years in that shop to settle in Australia....1854. I am now a healthy 83 years old and I remember Mrs. Brogan very clearly....Also, her two sons.
