Hi. My name is John Hayes and I was born at 45 Crowhill Road in 1947. The house was owned/rented by my Grandad and Gran (John and Mary Innes) who later moved to Auchinairn around 1953. I too would love to see pictures of Crowhill Road around that time. I have a copy of a picture postcard taken from the hill to the left of Crowhill Road (what is now Mavis Bank/Lennox Crescent) and shows some of the stone terraced houses. I worked out from the postcard where my birthplace was (no. 45) but don't know if your's is in there. The picture was taken around 1950.
