I found the following information in my family tree:

Thomas Duck, birth 4 dec. 1746, Calne Wiltshire, Death: 26 jan 1829 Blackland, Calne, Wiltshire
Father: Robert Duck, birth: 14 oct. 1706, Calne Wiltshire
Mother: Mary Holloway, birth: 2 mar 1711

Spouse: Priscilla Strong, birth: about 1744, Calne, Wiltshire, married: 22 apr 1770, Calne, Wiltshire
Death: 22 aug 1811, Blackland, Calne, Wiltshire. Thomas and Priscilla have 10 children.

I am also very curious if anyone has found documents about the birth of Priscilla and knows who her possible parents are.

Liberators on film
The Nijmegen Regional Archives earlier acquired a collection of 684 pictures of Allied soldiers who were involved in the liberation of Nijmegen in World War II or who were stationed at Nijmegen afterwards. The collection was donated in 2000 by ‘Foto Verweij’, a photography shop in Nijmegen. The photos were taken following Operation Market Garden, at the end of 1944 and in the beginning of 1945, when Nijmegen was a frontline city.

World War Two / J.Duck (1919) or A.C. Duck (1921), WWII Nijmegen The Netherlands
« on: Wednesday 03 April 19 20:06 BST (UK)  »
I'm looking for James Duck (born 1919 Bristol) or Ambrose Charles Duck (born 1921 Bristol).
Is there anyone who knows if one of them was in Nijmegen (Netherlands) in March 1945 during WWII?

Do you perhaps know family or descendants of this family Duck in the UK.
Father: George Duck (b. 23 jan 1886 (or 1888)) Mother: Elizabeth Ames (b. 30 nov 1890 Mooltan, Bengal, India). I suspect the family moved to the Lewisham and Bromley regions.

Thank you.
