Hi there, I've found that in addition to the middle name being the mother's maiden name, it can also be the surname of the father if the parents were not married. Sue x

Hello, Could someone please look up Ann Heath and family for me on the 1841 census for Nantwich. Ann was probably born in Ireland in 1824 and was the daughter of Samuel. Her listed occupation on the 1851/61 censuses was dressmaker. Thanks so much, Sue.
