Lancashire / Elizabeth Hipworth(hepworth)
« on: Tuesday 09 May 06 12:19 BST (UK)  »
I have a wedding for Elizabeth Hipworth(Hepworth) to Joseph McNally at
Cathedral, Manchester, Lancashire, England on 11th August 1851.
Joseph and Elizabeth emigrated to australia in 1855 with a 2 yr old daughter mary & 1 yr old son John.
I am trying to trace both lines further back including their births, parents and beyond if possible. Will appreciate any help whatsoever. They are my paternal great great grandparents

he is the one i have...............  i am just trying to work out if Jaqueline is in fact my "true" aunty(my father's sister) because when i do a search on my paternal grandmother..Alice May(nee Richardson, only shows up  2 children......my father James Domonic and a brother i never knew he had Francis Bernard.
I am sure Alice never remarried, for since i was a small child, I have never known her to have a partner.  She has lived with Jacqueline and Francesco and their children, plus her mother Roseanna Magdalene Jones. Only other person i knew to live in same house was an "Uncle Bill" could have been a William, but recent research(within family) points to him being of Lebanese extraction?? who knows??

Thx all the same

Trying to chase any previous &/or following family for James Joseph McNally( if i have already tried that here please forgive me)

James Joseph was born around 1865(no idea where) he married Maragret Ann Morrisey 2nd June 1889(st patricks church Adelaide, South Australia) and had at last one son, also believed to be James Joseph born around 1896. Would appreciate any branches , or even "twigs" that some one may be able to provide.
I believe James Joseph (snr)'s father was called Joseph.i have most gaps from james joseph(jnr) down covered, except i think other children apart from my father James Domonic(Dominic). My paternal grandmother was AliceMay(nee Richardson), I know there were at least 2 more children to Alice, but not sure if they were to James Joseph(jnr)o. One of These was John, who married a Patricia and a Jaqueline or Jackie who married a Francesco Cacciotti.

This is as much info as I have written down at moment. Sorry if I got carried away.

« on: Monday 13 March 06 13:14 GMT (UK)  »

James Leslie born wagga wagga NSW 31st August, 1895.His wife was Ethel O'Connell.

James Leslie's father was also known as James Leslie but am only guessing when I think his wife's maiden name was L. Bainsbrough?

James Leslie jun. enlisted for Australian Citizen's Military Force during world war 2( was obviously too young for WW 1)

There were 4 children to james and ethel that i know of John Patrick(my deceased Father in law) Kevin(wife Joyce), Robert( wife joyce?) and Mary(husband Ernie(dec).John Patrick was married to Eileen June Buncle. she left the marriage when my wife(now52) was approx 5 yrs old.........family spent a good deal of time in the swifts creek Omeo ,Tallangatta and Mitta Mitta area of victoria.

Chasing any information on wedding of Frank to Jacqueline(Jacky) in Adelaide South Australia. Unfortunate3ly I have no dates. Jacky's mother was Alice May McNally(nee Richardson).....she also had a brother John.

I believe Jacky and John were half brother and sister to my father James Dominic, but i have no idea of their father.

Any help whatsoever would be appreciated
