My relatives Patrick Conlon & Mary Conlon were also on Trafalgar. i think the article you read on trove was regarding Mary's marriage.
I am still looking for more on Sir Montague Chapman, but so far i know that he died on a shipwreck in May 1852.
I found quite a bit of useful family information on the nli site under Clonmellon catholic parish registers
