was your uncle Harry Burton from Thrybergh in Rotherham by any chance?
I'm researching my great grandmother, and she was married to A Harry Burton?

S.P is down at the mo, so I will hopefully get a look next week...we would love to pay our respects to susan so need to get the death cert and see if we can locate her grave. We visit Berties grave in elderslie once a year...its still in great condition...the ground however is far worse off! sadly Berties career and life ended so soon due to consumption I wonder if the same was susans fate?

we literally have no knowledge of her as our grandmother was raised elsewhere...but her and her husband our G grandfather had been having a rough time when he died on our nans 3rd birthday in 1937..one can only guess things went south for her after that

we know a fair bit about Robert Austin Thomson, plus much is documented due to his football status. However we are having great trouble trying to locate the burial place of his wife Susan, and his father John Thomson. Berties dad is not buried in the family grave alongside himself and his mother and other members of the Austin family, so its a mystery thus far....As is the life of Susan after Bertie??
