Hi, Currently researching for a friend .
Charles McGrigor/McGregor who was the son of a Robert and Mary Mczgregor née:Sutherland married 1762 at Sempster.

Charles married 1811 in Latheron to Isobel McKay.

Their son William McGregor married Isabella McIvor and farmed at Bualcorpie Smeral Latheronwheel.

Both died there in 1890 & 1877.
Their daughter Dolina McGregor married Thomas Darling Blair Davidson in 1881 kinningpark Glasgow but went back to Guidibest Croft and Bualtach near the McGregors . Please contact me if you like.

Gerry, I only know that Alexander Scott, David's father was married in 1818 in Beath - Leslie - Fife to Robina Millar, other variants such as Binney, Binnie, Diana.  He died before 1851 and Robina Scott was buried in the old Kirkyard in Leslie in 1856? from Memory. From the naming of their children I suggest his parents were David and Janet Scott.

Hi Skylah, Yes we are of the same family. My family are all above but Margaret Robertson married David Scott and immigrated to Australia in 1853 on the Childe Harold.  David Scott died in 1872 in Australia and Margaret a widow with 8 Children remarried in 1873 to Alexander Harris. She had 3 more children and died in 1915 also in Australia.
