The O'Sullivans were recorded as Publicans / Shopkeepers on various documents including birth certs.
The premises were located on Flood street.

It may be possible that decedents of Jeremiah  & Ellen may still be living in Galway. Names recorded on various documents include;

David O’Sullivan and Margaret O’Connor.
Thomas Kean & Mary Connelly
Pat O’Sullivan & Mary O’Sullivan
Patrick Loughlin & Charlotte Loughlin
Dan Sullivan & Mary Thompson

You mention Flood Street and Quay Street addresses... These would seem two different families 10 years apart with the exact same names for daughter Father and mother

Quay Street was Jeremiah's & Ellen's address when Mary Teresa was born in Feb 1868
Flood street for the births of Daniel was in 1870 , Michael & Jeremiah in 1873 , Ellen in 1874, Ellen II in 1880, Margaret in 1883
Fairhill Road Claddagh for the death of Daniel in 1888

And you have Quay Street, Galway address. on 1901 Census there was a 'Mary O'Sullivan 32 Years/Old  a widow born in Galway living at Quay Lane with a daughter born in America (transcribed as Marianne, difficult to read)  http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/reels/nai000807376/

Hi there appears to be more than one Mary O'Sullivan. My great grandmother was born February 1868. She was married and living in Fairhill Road Claddagh by 1901. I am after some of the other names that were associated with the births of her siblings and her wedding. The fact that she was the only surviving offspring doesn't help. Her parents were recorded as grocers/publicans on some of the birth certs.
I found Mary in Caltra County Galway in 1924. I would love to find out why and when she went there. Why did she leave Claddagh?
Many Thanks
