Thank you I know that.

I am talking about viewing a single entry. I used to call in at Martha St in Glasgow pay a couple of quid and see the entry. Not sure if you can do it in the current set up.

I recall visiting the GRO in Edinburgh, and other Registration offices in the past and was able to view a single entry and take notes in return for a few pounds.

Is this still possible?

Do you have any photographs of the Currie sons and daughters?

The person issuing the invitation was an Alexander Bryson from memory.

Hello

Can someone explain the difference between a senior and junior secondary school?

Was St George’s Road , near St George’s cross, a senior or junior secondary?

Was St Gerard’s in Govan a senior or junior secondary?

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Yes you are right 1867.

My family had an invitation card but it seems to have been lost.

I am descended fro Katherine Currie the daughter who married John Watson.

According to my research John Currie married Elizabeth Fulton. John was son of Robert Currie and Margaret Craig.
The Currie’s had a big reunion in 1869. It was reported in the local press.
