Looking for information on a relative great Aunt, she was amongst the first women in Victoria to be trained in mechanics during 1920s. She was born in Coburg Vic and was of Norwegian descent.
I have a record of her marriage 1923 under name of Ausguste Vina Elizabeth Ingwerson to Henry Grainge Biggs in 1923.
Apparently, she trained and worked with Alice Anderson, who had a business garage in Coburg Vic.
Family story goes she disappeared in mysterious circumstances during the 1930s, spouse died in the 1950s. Would love to trace her history.   thank you, Lavender Blue,

Thank you for your research on Mary Park, Richard Davis a convict came to Australia Tasmania1833 on the Stakesby ship 4/9 1833, aged 23. He married Mary 13/2/1843 Launceston and was the chief constable. I am wondering how Mary arrived, as cant find her on shipping records.
Where and what did she do before marriage. Kind Regards

Hi Neale1961
Thank you for your prompt reply, what you have given me has been very helpful, especially war records.
Seems his sister was named Edna, then Ronald married an Edna, who became Edna Barton.
Was a bit confusing when I was trying to look for Barton deaths.
   Cheers Lavender blue

Ruskie thank you for reply, so sorry my mistake house is 23 New Street not 30.
You mentioned to get previous owners thru council, as Beaconsfield is only a small town
would they hold rate notices in Launceston, or Hobart?.
                                                                              Kind regards L/B

Thank you all for solving the prayer key, proves you can be lead down the garden path.
I really thought it may have helped me find the owner of the house.
Roots chat certainly is a wonderful source.   Keep safe and well everyone.
