I'm going back next week to library and may find out then, as these came from a folder that has to be looked up by librarian, and the date was not on them.

The Ayrshire Post archives in Ayr Library go from 1880 to date, The Ayr Advertiser goes from 1803 to date and the Ayr Observer goes from 1832 to 1930.
I was in there today looking at the Post. I may be going back next week, so If you know the exact month and year that it was published,(as that makes it just 4 papers to go through) I MAY be able to look it up for you, as you have to search each paper manually page by page on microfiche, and costs 20p. to print a copy. I just took a photo with my camera of a paper copy, but I don't know if it would be good enough taking a photo from microfiche screen.
