Hi again  :)

I'm having loads of trouble finding stuff on the Familysearch.org site these days, the new format is just not working for me and records that I could find seem now to have totally disappeared, it's so frustrating! I never found the John and Hannah marriage, either before or after the change! I'm not very technically minded  :-\ Will let you know when I get the marriage confirmed :)

Many thanks
Mandy

Hi there,
thank-you so much for finding this for me and the offer of going to the archives for me. I am needing a trip myself soon so I'll check it out then, thank-you again :)

Nottinghamshire / John and Hannah Lee marriage
« on: Thursday 30 August 12 10:42 BST (UK)  »
Hi all,

been trying for years to find out the marriage of John Lee born 1811/1812 Nottingham and Hannah Comery born 1816 Carlton.

They went on to have children Mary Ann, George, Sarah, Alice, Samuel, Thomas, Alfred, James and Catherine.

Can anyone help me?
Many thanks

Hi there,
I was hoping that somebody can help me. My friend lost contact with her dad when she was 7 (over 40 years ago)
She always wondered what happened to him and had no luck trying to trace him.
She's just found out he passed away June 1988 in the Greenwich area of London. She would really love to visit his grave but has no idea where to start (neither do I!)
Can anybody help to find where he is buried or tell me how to go about this? Many many thanks

Hi there,

thank-you so much for your help with this. I had a look at the address you found for the twin boys and the road which was given as their address on the 1901 and they are very close.
Would it be possible for someone to check the electoral register for 10 Wilson Street, Barnsley?
The odd thing I discovered was that almost all their children were conceived April-ish time and born the following January time! Poor Maggie didn't seem to get a minute's peace and was only un-pregnant for a few months after giving birth before she was pregnant again!! The twins birth doesn't overlap any other pregnancy she had but it's very close!
I also checked the website with all the memorial inscriptions, no luck :(
So, does anybody have access to the electoral register for 1902, Wilson Street, Barnsley and would they be a treasure and have a look to see if a Mr Alfred Lee is there? :)
I'd be so grateful and this family has been really difficult to research!!
Many thanks
Mandy

Hi there,

think they were at Bell Green Lane, Cudworth, Barnsley. I'm only going by the stuff from the census form......
