It is the only entry for a Tom Jackson in 1917 ref: 7b 793 and his name was Tom not Thomas, I do not want to pay for a death certificate in case it is wrong. I just wondered if you were able to access the information but thanks for your help

My grandfather Tom Jackson born 4th March 1882 in Newcastle under lyme and died between 1916 and 1920 but I have no idea where in England! He was married to Doris Elizabeth Jackson and they lived in Newton Heath, Manchester. I believe he worked away though as he was a bricklayer and gas plant fitter. I heard he died of the flu epidemic at this time but have no confirmation. I have only found one entry which may be him  for Bakewell, Derbyshire 1917 but have been unable to see an image of the death certificate to confirm this, can you please help.

Thanks for that, the only problem that I have is the letter only said 15 Albert Street not where and signed Dorothy and Fred , don't recognise any of the names you gave me. I think it will be the Cheshire area maybe even Stockport! Robinson and Jackson are the names I am interested in so I will keep searching.

Would it be possible to tell me who lived at 15 Albert Street, Nantwich, Cheshire in 1901 and 1911? I have a family letter from that address around 1918/1919 but don't know the surname also may be the same family connection who lived in Nantwich in 1901

Thanks for replies, didn't know Rhoda's date of birth but had other info. Sorry I had Thomas and Rhoda on the 1861 census but  it is after that they seem to have disappeared. Know that Thomas was still living in September, 1879 as he is not down as deceased on his son Thomas's marriage certificate. Thanks again.

Hi, can anyone help me find out who the parents of Thomas Jackson born 1820,newcastle under lyme were. He married Rhoda Pattisson at St. John's, Keele, Staffordshire on the 8th August, 1839 and also what his father's occupation was. I can find Thomas and Rhoda on the 1841 and 1851 census but no trace after that. Thanks for any help.

Thanks Sam, that's great, thought I was on the wrong track as the Thomas Jackson who I thought was the father was a shoemaker and gut feeling told me that wasn't right. I can start tracing Thomas(Potter) now. Thanks again for your help.
