Thanks Patsy

This is indeed part of my family. I can remember an Auntie Edie and I am sure my Grandmother was Florence Lillian. I am most grateful for your help,as I mentioned earlier this is my first attempt at finding past relations and it has surely given my wife and I the incentive to go further,
Perhaps you could let me know where you obtained the information.
Thanks again Ken A

Thanks Patsy

My fathers mother never married, so obviously her maiden name was Armstrong, she had 2 sisters & a brother that I know of, she was called Lillian and the sisters Annie & Ethel The brother I think was James William there may have been another sister. I know my fathers father was the head Market Keeper in Newcastles Grainger Market.
Again thanks for the help.
Ken

Looking for birth details of my father James William Armstrong born 1911 in Newcastle upon Tyne in the Parish of St Andrews
Would someone be kind enough to look up details.
This is my first attempt at Roots Chat
Many Thanks

My wife and I are wanting to create a Family Tree on both sides of the family.
I have had a look at sites such as ANCESTRY but none of these are free, I am willing to pay once we have the basics. Could anyone advise us of suitable sites to start.
