I realise this is an old post, but I thought I'd add this information that may be of use for anyone in the future.
My ancestor's name is Margaret Nuttell, born about 1779 and married William Roberts in 1801 at Holy Trinity, Kingston Upon Hull. One of their sons was named Benjamin Nuttall Roberts, which is how I found your Benjamin Nuttell when trying to figure out her parentage. I searched British Newspaper Archives and found a marriage announcement that stated Margaret's father was named James Nuttell, a hatter in Hull. He was married to a woman with the surname Daniel, daughter of Nicholas Daniel of Nunmonkton.
