Thanks for the clarifying that for me... though I wasn’t posting an enquiry - I was responding to an enquiry. If that was not the case then I’m not sure why it asked me to reply to the original post. I am not looking for information, if I decided to do this in the future I will make sure I post all the information I have.

Hi,

Thomas McCaffrey and Margaret Bennett we’re married in Armagh so there will be no record on Scottish people.

My father - Eugene died in Northern Ireland (married in Ireland).

Most of the birth registrations are in st rollox and death in a district called pollispark.

When I was younger we visited dorsey in Armagh to meet my fathers family.

John Desmond died in 1941.

I have highlighted the family -see attached.

Hello,

My grandfather was Thomas McCaffrey and he married Margaret Ellen bennett. They lived in Glasgow (Kennedy street - glebe street) they had 7 children:
Dennis - died at 1 (TB)
John Desmond - died at 19 (stabbed)
Mary Ellen - died at 16 (TB)
Thomas joseph - died in his 70 (5 children)
Eugene - died at 59 (3 children)
Sheila - died at 14 (TB)
Philomena - died at 4months (TB)

Margaret McCaffrey died in1958 - not sure about Thomas. The names are spelt differently, but it’s too much of a coincidence.
