Many thanks for the replies.  I've just bought the rather old fireguard from someone on Facebook. The images you found look virtually the same but the fire guard is probably mid century because of the 'rubber' feet.

Hello, first time here so feeling my way.

I have an old brass framed fire guard, which is in three parts and folds up.  The centre, largest, part has a 'Crest' bolted to the front of it.  It comprises of a wreath (?) made of leaves (Laurel?) with what could be a quiver of arrows on top of the wreath going top right to bottom left and a Torch over that going top left to bottom right.  Is it just ornamentation or of some significance?  It may have been bolted on after it was made. I do have a photo.
