I now have some photographs from the cemetery. Could the families of Coyle and Munn contact me by e-mail at david@soulfuldetroit.com.

It's remarkable that Coyle and Munn are buried within a few feet of each other.

Looking forward to Saturday.

Hi Folks

A North Dalnottar (sp) Cemetery representative is meeting me on Saturday at 9.30 am in the grounds of Old Kilpatrick Cemetery.

I will take notes of who needs what and photograph the stones or unmarked graves where necessary.

Please upload any other sites asap.

I will report back before 5pm UK time on Saturday.

Hi Deb

I will ask for a diagram for your people's grave site when I phone them on Monday.

I will post their response by Tuesday, hopefully, and photograph the lair on Saturday.

I was very impressed with Old Kilpatrick when I made my first visit today and can assure you that your people's lairs are in good hands.

Does anyone know how to upload images to this forum.

I photograped a nice headstone today from someone who had travelled from Charlottesville, Virginia 1996 to leave a headstone for his people.

By the miracle of the Internet I think I have found the man and await his response.

You are in Canada? The World is shrinking fast.

speak soon
David

I was in the cemetery today looking for section 47 lair 11 Edward Boyce.

As with most cemeteries I have visited so far there were few markings but I got the impression that the grave will be in the Churchyard.

I am going to get a map from the council but if anyone knows how to navigate the cemetery I'd love to know.

There is a cemetery through the back which is not visible from the bulk of the old cemetery. Do not go there without a map :-))

I plan to return next Saturday so if anyone needs anything checking out let me know.
