Hello Lisa
Going on my family records James and Isobella (nee Ellis) were indeed married in Stamford. James was transported to Tasmania for receiving Stolen Pigs (Convict No. 2013) and arrived on 10/12/1835. He was a Boatswain on the journey and received a good report from the Medical Officer for assistance. After serving his sentence he became the licencee of the Freemason Hotel in Hobart. By all accounts James was the first Horman to settle in "The Colony". The only other information I have is that his son William arrived on the 'Barque' 'Derwent" on the 29/11/1845.
The Horman family farmed in the Channel Isles in their early years of settlement.
Don't know if that is what you are after but I would love to know the info you have on the Hormans etc..
