Reply to Janet re William Clifford -Clifford's of Lodonderry. I also am descended from William in NZ and have lots of info re him.
His youngest daughter Lily was my grandmother. I have not yet located a church birth entry for William, c 1827 in Ireland. Regards Barbara

I note you are researching Daniel Clifford who came to Tasmania 1853
I am descended from Daniel, via William who came to NZ

I have some info re this family, but I would love to have verification of surname of Jane, Daniel's wife
I cannot find primary source for her.
It is some time since you used this site, so I hope you are still looking at it
