Australia / Re: Shipping "Ashmore" to South Australia in 1884 - COMPLETED
« on: Tuesday 29 May 18 08:08 BST (UK)  »
I have information on the Ashmore ship from 1882.
My great-grandfather was born on the ship and I have a copy of the Surgeon's diary I found hidden in the back of a museum.
It was written by Doctor Knight in 1882 onboard the Ashmore so I know what happened every day, what the sailors were like, the storms they faced.
I also have the crew list and 14 years of other research including photos.
My book ASHMORE is due to be released in August this year (2018).
If you know of anyone who can help me find the ship plans so I know how the cabins are situated that would be awesome.
Or where I could find the Captain or First Mates log books?
Exciting to find other people interested in the same ship.

I have heaps of photos and information on my Facebook group
