The age is a bit wobbly, but compare the address with the 1851 Census.

1841 Census of Barking, Suffolk
HO107/1018/6 folio 29 page 17 - Hawkmill Street, Needham
Henry Rosier, 40, ag lab
Lucy, 35
John, 14
Willm, 11
Sarah, 8
Mary, 6
Ann, 4
Betsy, 2

I have a link here.  Henry is my g g g grandfather.

At the moment I cannot find a William Rozier 1825 in my tree but that's not to say he shouldn't be there!

Hello ricky

Thanks very much for that.  It'll keep me busy for a while.

The Preston that's mentioned may be a village called Preston St Mary which I think is in the Ringshall area.

 :)

I'm really stuck with my g-g-grandparents and I wondered if someone would be kind enough to do a lookup for me.

Mary Margaret Palmer born 1861 in Ringshall.

Robert Abbott born 1863 in Coddenham.

Ta very much.

A very interesting site.  It's nice to see how we've spread across the country.

I have a Kate E E Thing in my tree.  She married Joseph W Cooper in 1900.  Her parents were Robert Thing and Miriam Godbold.  Any connection?
