Thank you once again for all the info, I am very grateful and so is my friend. William H Morley's home address at the time of his death was 438 Briercliffe Road Burnley, I have found his will index on Ancestry. 118 Briercliffe Rd was indeed the workhouse, at some point it became Burnley General Hospital. Why William was in there I don't know. I have been able to connect all the names buried with William except one. Strangely enough his wife Susannah died November 1927 but don't know as yet where she is buried. Her maiden name was Hartley so as you can imagine her family are proving harder to find. However, I digress, thank you once again. :)
best wishes
Margaret

Thanks for replying to my Riley/Reilly thread. So far I have not been able to discover any info about William before he came to England. I have not come across a Patrick Reilly as yet but if I ever find a connection I will certainly let you know.
Happy Hunting and have a very Merry Christmas

Hi Pels
Not sure what info you are wanting, but I have had a look for John Terry on the Aysgarth/Askrigg PRs but he's not there. You have probably seen the one on LDS for him. He is with his parents John and Margaret on the 1841 census and it looks like he is the brother of Christine's ancestor Grace. I did find a baptismal date for Hannah though. Let me know if you haven't already got it and I will gladly post the info.
regards
Margaret

Hi Christine
There wasn't a Mary Kilburn baptised in Aysgarth so I checked the Askrigg Records. Mary Kilburn baptised 28 Jan 1821 d/o George and Mary. Vicar S.L. Brougham.

I then looked for a marriage between George and Mary in both PRs but none found. However, on the LDS there is a marriage between George Kilburn and Mary Calvert in Patrick Brompton Yorkshire.
Mary Calvert was born 12 May 1795 bap 20 May 1795 and was the daughter of Marmaduke Calvert and Mary Maynell (Patrick Brompton)

George Kilburn was bap 22 Feb 1792 Bainbridge Askrigg Yorkshire and was the son of Alexander Kilburn and Elizabeth Chapman. The church was St Oswald Askrigg.  On the 1841 census George and Mary are living in Bainbridge and two of their children are called Marmaduke and Alexander. This might be worth checking out don't you think?
Also there is a public tree on Ancestry who are researching the Kilburns.
Let me know what you think.
good luck
regards
Margaret
ps do you know who Mary Kilburn married?
