London and Middlesex / Re: Searching for Crick Ancestors.
« on: Sunday 03 June 18 06:07 BST (UK)  »
I have sent for the certificate for John Crick's death from GRO to see what it says. I didn't know John Crick Senior had a second wife. Thanks for that information. It all adds to my tree

London and Middlesex / Searching for Crick Ancestors.
« on: Friday 01 June 18 05:58 BST (UK)  »
I am searching for any ancestors of John Crick (abt1814-1848) from Middlesex - siblings, more information on parents etc. His wife was Emma Dunkley (1818-1907). The only information I can find on Ancestry is that his parents are John & Anne Crick.  One of their children - Benjamin Crick is my great grandfather. Should I be looking on other sites?

I contacted the cemetery direct by email as suggested and they found the grave for me and sent me the location. It is in the A section.

Could you help clean & brighten up this photo of my father Wilfred Arthur Crick (1916-1980) and his sister Gracia. Taken in London around 1918/19?

Thanks

Thanks for the information. Strange that is says Botcherley as there is no connection there.  I'm not sure what day we will be there yet.

I'll consider this post closed.

Down / Re: Any further Information - Andrew Morrison & Robert & Harriett Middleton
« on: Wednesday 09 May 18 03:20 BST (UK)  »
I have the historical images of the deaths of Andrew and Daughter Harriett from BDM Qld. I found most of the other information from ancestry.com. I could not see the image of who came out on the Jumna, and with all of the other information, Daughter Harriet did not come up. I knew about Annie(my grandmother) and Alice from information given to me by my mother. I also have a copy of the newspaper (my cousin has the original) of an article on Andrew Morrison, in the Albert & Logan news, 25 December 1909.

Now I will need to investigate further. The Children I have for Robert & Harriett are -
Robert Middleton - born 1865. Died 1945 in Australia
Margaret Jane Middleton Born 1866. Died 1931 in Australia. ? Confused about this other with the same name who died 1880?
Alice. Born 1869 Died 1942 In Australia
Anna (my grandmother) Born 1877. Died 1957 in Australia.
I have no record of there being another child named Harriett.
This information came mostly from ancestry.com but I will try those other sites mentioned.
I was hoping to find out Harriett Middleton 6 siblings if I could so I could persue the Morrison side.
Thanks for all your help. It has given me lots of further information.

Andrew Morrison's death certificate states that he was a labourer. He died at Baker's creek in Upper Coomera. He is buried in the Upper Coomera cemetery.
